What are Fine Art Papers? - Also known as "Giclée", these offer a genuine cotton based non-acid paper range that produce stunning image quality and vibrant colour gradations.  In addition, there are different textured surfaces to enhance particular photographic images. For Black & White Photographs we are big fans of "Baryta" Fine Art Paper, producing bright whites, intense blacks and amazing tone veriation for that classic Black & White look and feel.   

A prime consideration for us is what paper is used in the printing of a photograph. Every type of paper creates a different outcome in the printing process, an identical image can look very different across the many paper types.    So here are some of our favourite Fine Art Paper types and their various characteristics, which you will also see are refereed to in the specification details of any photograph you may select from the web site.

To simplify things, we general only show one Photo Paper and one Fine Art Paper in the specification Medium choice. These we feel will get the best out of the image when printed. In addition, we will also provide a Photographer Recommendation for Paper in the product drop-down box titled - "see full description & specification".
